We did another of our Satok walks yesterday morning. We haven't done one for a while.

On the way, peaceful burbs, and the first sunrise of winter (the equinox was the previous day):

A propos the bridge, it's definitely worth checking out this story by Karen Bong, who offers us a fascinating tour through the history and superstitions attached to the various versions of this structure (not to mention pictures of an adorable "mosquito bus").

Back in town, we stopped for second-breakfast sate, and a squizz at the new mural that's going up on Kai Joo Lane:




And this morning, we lingered for a while to watch progress on the new mural off Jalan Padungan:



This is why we never get anything done. There's just too much happening...
