We continue to walk across and around Douglas on a regular basis, often discovering new little corners:

We're getting lots of varied skies at the moment
But it's definitely summer!
Meanwhile, the local gardens are bursting with colour:
It was nice to accidentally come across a little exhibition at the Villa Marina Arcade, by art students from the University College Isle of Man. Entitled Follican (Manx for butterfly), it featured lots of good ideas:

I was particularly taken with these designs by Eilisteen Romero, which combine her Philippines heritage with motifs from the Island where she now lives
Something like: "For the environment and the nation"
All in all, a nice bit of serendipity.
