It's the first time we've been in temperate climes for the summer solstice since we got stuck in Cromer during covid.
So we thought we'd make the most of it. First, we got up to see the sunrise. This is pretty heroic, given that said orb was climbing out of bed at 0444, and wasn't due to retire until 2155.
But so worth it:
Then, this afternoon, we had our very first lunch in the garden:
And this evening we toasted this pinnacle of the light with a glass of wine.
All downhill from here, then... Only joking.
