The mild weather is still with us. The air is not cold, but it's damp, and for a couple of mornings, we've had this low cloud that coats your hair with droplets, drains the colour from the surrounding countryside, and wraps everything in a mysterious veil:
Today we followed a version of this route, which we are able to join straight from our Ballabeg door.
First objective: Earystane Nature Reserve. There wasn't much stirring, but there was atmosphere aplenty:
From the Reserve, you head up the hill to join a track we've used before. The over-interested bullock was a bit of a concern, but we tried to act casual while beetling across to the gate on the far side.
Nature was still doing its little fairyland thing:
And finally, down the grassy track to home:
