Today was our wedding anniversary outing. It's not actually our wedding anniversary today, but we learnt long ago not to celebrate things on the day. If you do, something will come along to thwart you...

Anyway, we started with a really good breakfast at Noa:

And then we took the steam train to Port St Mary. We've travelled this way several times since returning to take up residence. It never, ever gets old...

The countryside is looking very summery -- but also very dry. Don't want to seem ungrateful or anything, but we could do with some rain

Port St Mary doesn't really do Wednesdays. It's more a Thursday-to-Sunday type of place. But we were still pretty full from breakfast, so we made do with some cans of iced coffee from the Coop, and sat and drank them by the sea.
